Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using MeteorGazer ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our meteor shower prediction platform operated by MeteorGazer ("us", "we", or "our").

  • Choose safe, legal locations away from traffic and hazards
  • Inform others of your observation plans and expected return time

Prediction Accuracy

While we strive for careful and scientifically informed calculations, meteor shower predictions are inherently uncertain. Actual visibility depends on factors beyond our control, including weather, local light conditions, radiant altitude, and variable shower activity.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate. All predictions are provided for guidance only and should not be considered guarantees.

While we strive for accuracy in our astronomical calculations, meteor shower predictions are estimates based on scientific models. Actual viewing conditions may vary due to:

  • Weather conditions (clouds, precipitation, atmospheric clarity)

Limitation of Liability

Important Legal Notice

MeteorGazer is not liable for any damages resulting from your use of the service.

This includes but is not limited to damages arising from outdoor activities, travel to observation locations, equipment purchases, or missed astronomical events based on our predictions.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MeteorGazer operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
